Sometimes answer to the question, “why” is: “because we’ve always done it that way”. Today’s radio audience suffers from overexposure to media by outside sources. A lot of time and attention can be spend on things that don’t register with the shrinking collective attention span and, in some cases, just don’t matter anymore. Scoring the “Why”, along with the other factors and spelling out ways to improve these scores can give a station a new focus and relatability.
